In Loving Memory of
Duncan Fyffe Davison Finlay
February 19, 1945 - December 27, 2022
We gather to mourn the passing of a beloved father to Hamish brother to Ian and a cherished grandfather to Sage. Duncan was also a friend to many, and his kindness and compassion touched the hearts of those around him. He showed us that there is more than one way to live, and his memory will live on in all who knew him.
As the Scots say, "Lang may your lum reek" (may your chimney smoke for a long time), we raise a glass to Duncan and the lasting impact he had on our lives.

Over 200 people gathered to bid farewell to the beloved Duncan Fyffe Davison Finlay at his memorial service. Friends and family came from far and wide to celebrate the life of this adventurous man. The event was a true reflection of Duncan's character, with laughter and music filling the air.
The speakers included Duncan's brother, Ian, who shared fond memories of their childhood and their many adventures together. Friends also took to the podium to share stories of their time with Duncan, highlighting his kindness and generosity.
The musical performances added to the warmth of the event, with three talented musicians serenading the crowd with beautiful songs. The event was a true celebration of Duncan's life, with beer, wine, and delicious food shared amongst friends and family.
As the day came to a close, it was clear that Duncan had touched the hearts of all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
