Sunset Serenity Over Coull’s Inlet

East Gippsland, Music

The sun’s last kiss on the tranquil lake,
Mountains shadow in twilight's wake.
Sky ablaze with fleeting light,
Mallacoota's beauty, our delight.

Reflections dance on glassy water,
Nature's peace, no man can alter.
Evening whispers through the trees,
Carrying secrets on the breeze.

Boats idle on the calm inlet,
In golden hues, the scene is set.
As day gives way to starry night,
In every heart, Mallacoota shines bright.

Such moments, here, where silence speaks,
A gentle end to all our weeks.
In Mallacoota’s arms, we find
A tranquil peace to still the mind.

A golden goodbye over Mallacoota's mirror

As the sun dips low, casting a soft glow over Coull's Inlet, Mallacoota transforms into a canvas of muted golds and rich ambers. This evening scene captures the quiet majesty of the sun's farewell as it sets behind the distant mountains, illuminating the sky in a spectacular display. The tranquil waters of Mallacoota Lake reflect the vibrant sky, creating a perfect mirror image that doubles the beauty. Boats rest gently on the water, anchored for the night, while the surrounding greenery and the small clusters of houses nestled among the trees soak up the last light of day.
