Metung in East Gippsland, Victoria, Australia is a charming small town located on the banks of Lake King that offers stunning views and water-based activities.
As soon as I arrived in Metung, I took the opportunity to capture the breathtaking scenery with my drone. However, I was soon invited to join the Wednesday race at the Metung Yacht Club and was unable to take more photos. The winds were strong, reaching over 20 knots, and I had the chance to be a part of the crew as the starboard jib hand.
Metung also offers a variety of accommodations, including holiday homes, bed and breakfast establishments, and a few hotels and resorts. The town is surrounded by natural bushland, making it a peaceful and picturesque location.
